Summer 2026 EYFS Leadership Meeting will…

1) Share updates on current national priorities, including:

• Ofsted Updates & Inspection Toolkit
• Transition and School Readiness for 2026/27
• Two Year & Rising Three Provision Considerations
• Additional handwriting guidance
• Data analysis and making accurate EYFSP judgements
• SEND Review
• Additional updates: – (i) Birth to Five Matters (ii) Early Years Pupil Premium Planning Tool – EEF (iii) Sign posting to new documentation / guidance

2) Focus on developing high-quality outdoor learning, including:

• The use of an updated audit tool to strengthen the quality and consistency of provision across the phase.
• A sample term-by-term provision map to support clear progression within each outdoor learning zone across nursery and reception.

3) Provide networking opportunities to share good practice and discuss implications for your schools

* Each delegate will receive a full electronic training pack to support ongoing CPD in school.
