A full day course across two separate sessions:

Part 2: Thursday 4th July, 1-4pm

This course will:
- Share key messages on the EYFS statutory requirements
- Explore what constitutes quality daily practice through:
- Implementation of the 7 areas of learning and characteristics of effective learning across the learning environment and daily routine
- Role of the adult, and
- Parental engagement
- Provide an overview of the observation, assessment and planning cycle
- Include clear links to the current Ofsted Inspection Framework
All delegates will receive a full electronic pack, which will include: EYFS Statutory Framework Audit; Learning Environment Guidance; Adult-led and Child-initiated Guidance; Sample Daily Routine; Sample Literacy Text Plan for Autumn 1 in Nursery or Reception ( including 3 weeks of Literacy, suggested adult-led activities for other areas of learning, bank of ideas for indoor and outdoors linked to the text) ; Pathways in Learning; and Sample Planning Proformas.
