EYFS Framework

Course aims:

• To examine EYFS in the context of Ofsted Education Inspection Framework 2019/20
• To share key messages on the statutory requirements of the framework
• To explore what constitutes quality daily practice through: Implementation of the seven areas of learning, and characteristics of effective learning across a  quality learning environment and daily routine; Teaching entitlements; Role of the adult, and Parental engagement/home learning
• To provide an overview of the observation, assessment and planning cycle
