A half day course to support teaching assistants in developing pupil confidence in fluency, reasoning and problem solving through practical maths activities

Trainers: Anne Butler (EY2P Associate) & Hayley Wynne (EY2P Consultant)

This course will address:

• Developing children’s fluency in maths and their ability to reason and to solve problems
• Questioning in order to develop children’s conceptual understanding of maths
• Ways to raise and foster pupil confidence and enjoyment of maths
