A full day course to support the effective teaching of reading and writing in KS1

Target audience: KS1 teachers, NQTs and RQTs.

This course will address:

• An overview of reading and writing requirements within the 2014 English National Curriculum
• The teaching sequence from reading into writing ensuring cohesion between oral language, reading and writing
• The effective teaching of differentiated guided teaching and learning
• The use of assessments to inform teaching and learning
