Ruth Levy
Ruth Levy is a specialist in Early Years and Literacy. She has over 30 years of experience in Early Years and KS1 education, both as a practitioner and consultant.
Ruth is one of one of the partners in EY2P. Over the last 12 years in this post, Ruth has provided consultancy and training support across many schools in Greater Manchester. She has focused mainly on Early Years quality assurance and development, Phonics & Spelling (EYFS to KS2) and ensuring effective transition from EYFS into KS1. Ruth also works as part of the EY2P team to deliver a highly successful universal training programme. Consistently positive feedback shows Ruth is an inspiring and highly effective trainer.
In her previous post with Manchester Local Authority, Ruth provided consultancy support in schools and settings. She managed and led the city-wide CLLD programme. Ruth also developed and ran an accredited Masters Level CPD on Communication and Language for Greater Manchester schools.
Ruth has also co-written and launched materials for Playbags, which is a very successful Literacy based parental engagement project, being used in many schools and settings across the country.
