Headteacher Briefing: Monitoring the effectiveness of Early Years provision (Ofsted 2014)

A half day briefing to support the effective monitoring of EYFS provision.

This briefing session will address:

• Effective systems for collating and analysing data to demonstrate how well all children achieve in nursery and reception across all areas of learning
• Effective observation of teaching and learning in the EYFS (including adult-led and child-initiated)
• Effective strategies to support ‘work scrutiny’ in the EYFS (including the evaluation of learning journeys and the learning environment
