NQT Training: Becoming Outstanding

A full day course to support NQTs to establish key strategies to ensure a successful teaching career.

This course will address the following aims:

• Key components that make an outstanding teacher and how to embed them into daily practice:
  • Good subject knowledge
  • Talk for learning
  • Differentiation
  • Challenge for all learners
• To gain an overview of Ofsted inspections
• To reflect on own skills as a teacher and identify key next steps to improve practice

Target audience: Y1 to Y6 NQTs
